“HDMI 2.0 Cable” Is Market Shorthand
HDMI version numbers describe capabilities implemented by source and display devices. Official cable names instead include High Speed HDMI Cable, Premium High Speed HDMI Cable and Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable. A seller’s “HDMI 2.0” label therefore does not, by itself, prove the cable category, certification or performance at the installed length.

A working 4K60 HDR link requires compatible output and input ports, a suitable cable, correct device settings and content that actually uses the mode. AV receivers, splitters, wall plates, adapters and capture devices can each become a limiting point.
