Does HDMI Cable Length Matter? The Truth Revealed

Yes, HDMI cable length can affect reliability, but there is no single universal “maximum HDMI length.” The result depends on the signal format, cable design, source, connectors and display. Choose the cable category for the required mode, verify the exact model and length when a certification program applies, and test the complete installed route before closing a wall or approving a deployment.

What a Marginal Long HDMI Run Looks Like
